Introduction

While most cities have their own distinct feel, there's something about Savannah's quirky vibe that never fails to draw in a plethora of tourists. As a huge coffee enthusiast, one of my favorite things about this city is the wide variety of local coffee shops and cafes. However, even though Savannah is fairly small, I often found myself going to the same places due to how overwhelming and hidden a lot of the cafes were.

I created the idea of Sip to easily introduce locals and travelers alike to the drinks they enjoy in new, interesting places. Using Location Services on their phone, Sip displays the shops closest to the user at that particular time, shows how busy the area is, hours of the establishment, and the estimated time by walking.

Simply search for whichever coffee, tea, smoothie, or juice drink and Sip will find nearby shops that sell their own twist on that particular drink. Users can also go into their Preferences and configure tastes based on coffee bitterness (bitter v.s acidic), and dietary preferences such as dairy-free, low-sugar, antioxidant-level and more. A chat function is available if the user has questions about a certain shop or drink, and an available employee can aid them if possible.
